Thane: An unfortunate incident shook the residents of Thane when a 16-year-old youth, Manish Utekar, committed suicide due to alleged mental harassment by traffic police officers. In a heart-wrenching suicide note, the young boy pointed fingers at specific officers and accused them of racist behavior, demanding immediate action against them.

According to the suicide note left behind by Manish, the incident occurred on the day of Gatari when his car was apprehended by traffic police officers, more specifically, Traffic Police Pushpak and Traffic Police Sudhakar, in the Kopri area of Thane East. The officers reportedly stopped him for suspicion of drink and drive during the night.

Manish, who was a student aspiring to join either the army or the police, pleaded with the officers, explaining his situation as a student in recruitment. Despite his apologies and willingness to pay the fine the next day, the officers allegedly resorted to threats and intimidation. They demanded a significant amount of money and warned him of dire consequences if he didn't comply.

In the suicide note, Manish expressed his fears that his career would be ruined if he were dragged to court. He attempted to reason with the officers, stating that he was ready to pay the penalty and take responsibility for his actions. However, the relentless harassment and threats persisted, leading the young boy to the extreme step of taking his own life. Check the suicide note:
