Bengaluru: In a significant boost to India's technology sector, Microsoft Chairman and CEO Satya Nadella announced a $3 billion investment to expand the company’s cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure in the country.
Speaking at an event on Tuesday, Nadella highlighted the "fantastic momentum" in India, emphasizing the increasing adoption of multi-agent deployment models.
“This is the single largest expansion we have ever undertaken in India, with an additional $3 billion allocated to enhance our Azure capacity,” said Nadella.
The investment will focus on regional expansion, aiming to strengthen Microsoft's presence in India and cater to the growing demand for advanced cloud and AI solutions.
