The National Center for Seismology (NCS) stated that three earthquakes of varied size rocked Jaipur, Rajasthan, during a one-hour period early on Friday.
Around 4.25 am, a 3.4-magnitude earthquake at a depth of 10 kilometers was observed.
At 4.09 am, a 4.4-magnitude earthquake with a shallow 10-km depth struck the capital of Rajasthan. According to the NCS data, it was followed by a second 3.1-magnitude earthquake that occurred at 4.22 am at a depth of 5 kilometers. Several areas of the city experienced tremors, according to reports from PTI.

Strong earthquakes, according to former chief minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje, were reported in Jaipur. She tweeted, “I hope you are all safe.”

In the early hours of Thursday, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.6 shook the ground 61 kilometers east of Ngopa, Mizoram, according to the NCS. The NCS estimates that the earthquake happened 80 kilometers under the surface.
