The veteran leader retired from the Rajya Sabha earlier this year, marking the end of a remarkable 33-year tenure in the Upper House of Parliament.
Leaders across party lines, including Priyanka Gandhi, were seen arriving at AIIMS Delhi. The hospital has officially confirmed his demise through a press release.
