During the virtual inauguration of the new Integrated Terminal Building at Veer Savarkar International Airport in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a dig at the ongoing opposition meet in Bengaluru. He remarked that the opposition's mantra appears to be 'of, by, and for the family,' indicating that their priority lies with their own families rather than the nation.
The political landscape is witnessing a high-voltage showdown, with the Opposition parties holding their second joint meeting in Bengaluru, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA is preparing for a mega meet in New Delhi.
Commenting on the joint Opposition meeting, PM Modi referred to it as a 'Kattar Bhrashtachar Sammelan,' where individuals facing corruption charges involving crores of Rupees are respected, and those with their entire families on bail are given even more honor. He also criticized the practice of honoring those who insult specific communities and get punished by the court.
