Hyderabad, Jan 20, 2024: Festivities celebrating a company's 25th anniversary turned into a somber occasion after the CEO, Sanjay Shah, tragically lost his life in a stage mishap at Ramoji Film City.
Mr. Shah, along with another company official, had entered an iron cage suspended above the stage. The cage, meant to be lowered as part of the celebration, tragically malfunctioned when its supporting chain snapped on one side, causing both individuals to fall.
While rushed to the hospital immediately, Mr. Shah succumbed to his injuries during treatment. His colleague is currently in critical condition.
