Akshay Kumar's upcoming film "OMG 2" unveils a new song titled "Har Har Mahadev," showcasing the actor in the look of Lord Shiva with ash, dumroo, and dreadlocks. The song perfectly captures the essence of the month of Sawan with Akshay channeling Lord Shiva and performing the famous Tandava dance.
The song "Har Har Mahadev" commences with a mesmerizing display of Shiva devotees, adorned in traditional attire with ash on their faces, dancing the Tandava. Akshay joins the crowd, exuding divine energy as he delivers his powerful Tandava dance. The song, sung and composed by Vikram Montrose, features lyrics by Shekhar Astitwa.
Akshay Kumar had previously piqued fans' curiosity by sharing a motion poster of the song, where he strikingly portrayed Lord Shiva with a dumroo, ash-covered face, and hair.
Earlier, the film released its first song "Oonchi Oonchi Waadi," providing glimpses of the movie that also stars Pankaj Tripathi. The film has been submitted to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to review dialogues and scenes, aiming to avoid any controversies upon its release.
Directed by Amit Rai, "OMG 2" is a sequel to the critically acclaimed "OMG: Oh My God," where Akshay Kumar essayed the role of Lord Krishna. The film, set to hit theaters on August 11, features Yami Gautam as a lawyer and delves into the story of Shiva devotee Kanti Sharan Mudgal, played by Pankaj Tripathi, whose son faces bullying in school, leading to distressing circumstances.
As anticipation builds, "OMG 2" promises to offer a spiritual and thought-provoking cinematic experience, competing with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel's "Gadar 2" upon its release.
